- In order to support the effort to stop and prevent engine light problems, we produced a list of every packet ever sent by HCSS and TDA with DTC codes or MILON messages. Going forward, this information is available daily in an operations report that covers the previous 24 hours.
- TDA has requested a change to the installed devices screen to tally up devices in inventory along-side everything else. We fixed some existing problems with the graph and added Dallas to the inventory site list. Next week we'll put the inventory on the installed devices screen as the top priority for them.
Fleet Management
- Driver Performance Report and Vehicle Performance Report queries are working reasonably fast now and the reports present in the report screen. Reports screen updated to use horizontal form style for the filters to allow more room for the report data.
- We added a fuel receipt form that allows for entering gallons purchased and location, with photo of the receipt. We will incorporate this data into the state mileage report for IFTA purposes.
- Detail and history and reports screens, date range and date range control fixes.
- Handful of small bugs and content creation tasks are left. After I have the mock vistracks api online and unblock the rest of the team from VT integration, my full attention on these will put them to rest next week.
- Need some feedback about the speeding database vendor I prefer the most, www.driveaware.com. They'll allow us to host their database and have a reasonable price of $0.25 / mo per driver using the feature. Our intention is to make this a license item in our service plans so that the cost is simply passed directly to the customer.
Vistracks Integration
- Worked with Barry to make sure we are getting good data from the driver he set up, so we can use it to test the api.
- Barry also provided direct access to his rebranded vistracks web portal; useful because we intend to wholesale steal the UI layout from these screens.
- Simplified several requirements while abstracting the api (see previous post).
- Should finish the mock api implementation today, allowing us to test synchronization and UI integration in any way we need to.
